Kintamani is a mountainous region located in the northeast of Bali. The region extends from the northeast of Bali to the caldera of Mount Batur and includes the villages Kintamani, Batur, and Sukawa.
It is a region rather tourist. Its many assets are notably, Mount Batur, the lake Batur and the temple Pura Ulun Danu Batur. The temperature is colder than the rest of the island because it is a mountainous region. This region produces coffee and has tropical forests. Coffee is one of the main economic assets of this region. Indeed, Balinese coffee is known as "Kintamani coffee". Kopi Luwak, which is the most expensive coffee in the world, also comes from Kintamani.
